This podcast is a recording of the Saturday evening talk I gave at the women's weekend lent retreat I gave March 9-11, 2012 at St. Ignatius Retreat House.  The theme of the retreat was pilgrimage as a metaphor for our lives and the lenten journey.  This talk focuses on Jesus' story and what we learn from His model of discipleship. This podcast is a recording of the final talk I gave during a weekend women's lent retreat I gave at St. Ignatius Retreat House in Manhasset, NY on March 9-11, 2012.  The theme of the weekend was Pilgrimage as a Metaphor of our lives and our lenten journey.  This final talk addresssed what it means to be pilgrims in a post-resurrection world.  The podcast runs for 21:29.

This podcast is a recording of the opening talk I gave at a weekend Women's Lent Retreat at St. Ignatius Retreat House in Manhasset, NY, March 9-11, 2012.  In this opening talk I talk about pilgimage as a metaphor for our lenten journey and our lives, and about how the weekend would process.  After my talk, the retreatants did an exercise that asked them to chart a period of their live, looking at both external events and their spiritual state.  The podcast, which runs for about 20 minutes) ends at hte point when the retreatants began the exercise. (It actually continues to run for a minute or so after I finished giving instructions for the exercise.)

This podcast is the second talk I gave during a weekend women's lent retreat at St. Ignatius Retreat House, March 9-11, 2012.  The theme of the retreat weekend was A Lenten Pilgrimage.  This talk tells the tales of four women who model different aspects of discipleship - Martha, Veronica, Mary Magdalene and Mary, the mother of Jesus.  The pocast runs for 26:28.

This podcast is a recording of a talk I gave at St. Ignatius Retreat House in March 8, 2011 on the subject of my forthcoming book, "Growing in Love and Wisdom," which adapts Tibetan Buddhist analytical meditations for Chrsitians.  In my talk, I explored some of hte common values and understandings underlying Christianity and Buddhism and talked about how meditations drawn from the Buddhist tradition can enhance our prayer lives as Christians.  The podcast runs for 42:33.
